Workflow

Open the addon.

Exported Categories Data

The Export categories data features allow you to download your store’s category information in a CSV file. You can fully customize what fields you want to include in the exported file.

• Open the categories page under the Products menu.
• Select the categories you want to export
• Open the Action dropdown and choose the export category.

•  Exported fields:  These fields will be included in your export file.
• Available fields:  Here, you can move these into the exported fields list as per your needs.

Export Options

• CSV delimiter: Users can choose the CSV delimiter(comma, semicolon, etc) and how they want the file.
• Output: choose the output type - direct download screen or server.

• File Name: This is the name of the file that will be created when you export your data. The system automatically generates a file name with the current data, but you can also rename it if you want to keep things organized.
•  Users can pick and move these fields to the exported field. This way, you get full control over what should be included in the Available Fields section.

• You see the selected fields, like pair type, meta keywords, and meta description, moved from available fields to exported fields using the arrow in the Exported fields section.
• Click on the Export button to download the exported data file.

• You see the downloaded exported data file.

• Click on the gear button.
• Click on the exported files to see them exported files.

• After clicking "Export Files," a pop-up window will open.
• Here you see the exported files.
• Additionally, you can download this file by simply tapping the download icon.

Import Categories Data

The Import Category feature helps you upload category data in bulk effortlessly. It saves time and keeps your store categories organized with ease.

• Click on the gear button.
• Tap on the import category to upload your categories data easily.

• Categories: 

     This section shows the list of fields that your data file contains. Highlighted fields like Category ID, Parent ID, ID Path, and Position are mandatory.  Other fields include category name, status, Description, images, meta details, etc.

• CSV delimiter: 

Choose the CSV delimiter (for example, Semicolon) and then select your file. You can upload the file from Local, Server, or URL.

• Select file:

In this option, you can choose the CSV file that contains your category data. The file can be uploaded directly from your Local system, selected from the Server, or added through a URL.

• After uploading the file, click on the Import button to add all your category data into the store.

Instead of updating details one by one, you can easily import bulk data or export category information into a single file.
