Word’s Blocker Addon

With Word Blocker Addon for CS-Cart, you can remove or replace with asterisks(*) bad words in product names, descriptions, features, filters, options, and categories. The case-sensitive feature ensures matching or ignoring uppercase and lowercase variations. Also, the admin can add multiple bad words in the block bad words list. This addon automatically detects and notifies you when these words are used, ensuring a safe and professional shopping experience for all users.

Features:

How Addon Works:

• Open the addon.
• Go to the General tab.
• Items for menu: You can directly access the track events in the Website menu.

• Action on Bad Words: here, the admin can select any action to remove or replace some bad words.
• Case sensitive while checking for the Bad Words: If it's turned off, it will remove or change any bad word, whether in uppercase or lowercase. If it's turned on, bad words will only be removed or change letter match exactly(uppercase and lowercase) with the words in the list.

• Go to the Website >> Block Bad Words.

• Click on the (+) icon to create the new Bad Word.

• Value: Enter the Name of Bad Word.
• Click on the Create button.

• Here you see the created multiple Bad Words.

• This addon checks for bad words in product names, descriptions, categories, options, filters, and features.
•  Go to the Products >> Products. 

• Open any product.

• Name: Enter the bad word in the Product Name.
• Description: Enter the bad word in the product description.
• Click on the Save button.

• You can see the warning notification and the bad word removed from the product name and description.

• You can use the same setting in the features, then you see asterisks replacing the letters between the first and the last letter of the word.
• Now, go to the Products >> Features.

• Click on the (+) icon to create the new feature.

• Enter the word blocker name.
• Click on the Create button.

• You can see the asterisks between the feature name created here.

• Now you select the next option Replace letters with asterisks in between the first and last letter in Action on Bad Words setting.

• Enter the bad word in the product name and product description.
• Click on the Save button.

• Here you see the asterisks between the first and last letter of the bad word.

• You select the next option Replace complete word with asterisks in Action on Bad Words setting.

• Enter the bad word in the product name and product description.
• Click on the save button.

• Here you see the bad word replaced with asterisks.

• If it's turned on, bad words will only be removed or change letter match exactly(uppercase and lowercase) with the words in the list.

• Here enter the bad word in lowercase.

• Bad words still exist as we have used Uppercase R from the Rude words in Lower case “r”.
