Cs-Cart Auction Addon

This CS-Cart Auction add-on allows buying and selling through bidding. Sellers list products, and buyers place bids. The highest bidder wins in an Incremental auction, while the first to meet the lowest price wins in a Decremental auction.

Both admins and vendors can create auctions, and buyers can bid on products. Admin can declare the highest and lowest bidder as the winner, allowing them to purchase the item. This add-on transforms a CS-Cart eCommerce store** into a fully functional auction platform.

  • Set Auction Start & End Time: Admins and vendors can schedule auction timings.

  • Reserve price ($): This is the minimum (Decremental) or maximum (Incremental) bid on which the winner will be declared if the bid reaches this price.
  • Incremental or decremental price ($): This means the next bid will increase or decrease by this given amount.
  • Buy now: Tick the Buy Now check box to show this button on store.
  • Buy now price ($):  Enter the price at which a user can buy the item instantly without waiting for the auction to end.

  • In the storefront, select an Auction Product that has an Auction Running Status.
  • Click on >> Follow button if you want notification.
  • Next to the follow button, you can see the Auction timer, Reserve Price, and Starting Price.
  • Now the field allows customers to enter the Bid Amount and then click on Make Bid button.
  • Also, you will see the text below the Bid amount field which suggests the acceptable amount for the new bid. The amount should be equal or more than the mentioned value.
  • Use the Buy Now button to purchase this product on fixed amount.

  • The newly made bid is visible on this page with the bid has been submitted notification.

  • This is the last bid made by a different customer.
  • When multiple bids are placed, the Bid History tab appears. Customers can click on that to view the bid history list.

  • Admin can also view the bidders list in the admin panel's bid history tab.

  • When the auction time ends, the customer sees the Auction Closed Status in the storefront.

  • Now, the admin can select the winner using the gear button for any of the three bidders.

  • The winner is highlighted with a green stripe, and the auction is closed in the admin panel as well.
